Light newsgroup software
Hi Foxes,
Tired of heavy newsgroup clients such as pan, grabit and so on...let's have a try to;
I'm using stunnel on the top to add SSL feature. I prefer to do so, because I think that stunnel is well optimize about speed and memory usage compare to any homemade implemantation in a third software. I prefer to use the a dedicated software for that when it is possible.
About the configuration of the softwares, it is regular config files. You can have a look to :

- slrn, a blazing fast newsgroup reader. It downloads messages very quickly, it is very easy to use it and with a lot of features.
- nzbget very efficient to donwloads binary files using newsgroup. It is light and impressive.
- nget may be a useful software, but I have not found it easy to use.
